In line with the EU Youth Strategy and the objective of improving the knowledge on youth issues in Europe, an action grant is awarded to the National correspondents ensuring the support needed to create and maintain a Youth Wiki platform on youth policies in Europe. Better knowledge is one of the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy and there is a need to improve the delivery of information on the situation of young people in Europe and on national youth policies in a coherent, updated and more visible and exploitable way. The participation of all national correspondents in the work of the Youth Wiki will facilitate access to comparative national system-level data. The main objective is to provide the involved countries, the EC and other stakeholders with updated information of youth policies by providing comparable, easy access to information by country and by theme. Ultimately, the information will lead to supporting policy actions and cooperation in the field of youth within the European Union and the participating countries. The role of the Youth Wiki Correspondent Croatia is to contribute to the completion and the update of the Youth Wiki as set in the Youth Wiki biannual work programme 2022-23 by a) Updating all chapters of the national description on policies in the field of youth (Youth Wiki) - including the Glossary and the Overview - according to the Guide to Content & the recommendations of the Quality Assurance Process b) Contributing with data and analysis to two short comparative analyses (one in 2022 and one in 2023) c) Checking selected qualitative indicators on the topics on (1) voluntary activities and (2) E&T, employment and entrepreneurship and verifying updated related maps before publication c) Participating in the Youth Wiki network meetings e) Ensuring promotional activities at national level, contributing to the dissemination of the Youth Wiki at European level and providing feedback on communication indicators when requested by EACEA.
