Description

Description

Hate Fighters Network (HFN) is an international youth network established with the purpose of advancing human rights, promoting democratic values, and empowering young people to act as agents of change within their communities and beyond. Its foundation is rooted in a commitment to non-formal education, intercultural cooperation, and grassroots youth participation, with a clear strategic and values-based approach as defined in its Statute and strategic documents. In the period 2023-2025 HFN implemented Youth Zone grant through Operational Grants Framework Partnerships, and would like to apply for the period 2026-2027 as a follow up. Hate Fighters Network (HFN) has adopted a Strategic Plan and Work Program for 2026–2027, developed through a participatory and evidence-based process involving over 500 young people, youth workers, and volunteers from across the network. The strategic framework was shaped in three stages: a network-wide consultation to identify needs and priorities of young people, including marginalized groups such as ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ youth, and socio-economically disadvantaged youth; the development of project concepts aligned with Erasmus+ and EU strategic frameworks; and collective validation of the final plan through structured consultation and voting among member organizations. The strategic plan is organized around four thematic pillars: Human Rights and Inclusion; Safety and Well-being; Media and Digital Literacy; and Active Youth Participation, each with defined general and specific objectives. These pillars are complemented by two transversal initiatives promoting EU programs and volunteering, reinforcing the network’s systemic contribution to the European Education Area and broader EU values.Hate Fighters Network contributes directly to the objectives, themes, and priorities of the call for operating grants under the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of education and training.
