Youville Centre Roof and HVAC Project

The project involves the replacement of the Youville Community Centre roof and HVAC system equipment, as well as thermal upgrades. A Building Condition Assessment conducted in 2019 by Altus group resulted in a recommendation to replace both assets as they nearing the end of their service life. The project meets the immediate outcome of improved access to and/or increased quality of community, cultural and/or recreational infrastructure by improving the safety of this publicly accessible community infrastructure. It is expected to result in energy and operating savings which will allow funds to be redirected to services provided to community center clients. It is also expected to result in an improved environment for clients and an improved Facility Condition Index.
