The whole line adopts the standard construction of four-lane expressway with a design speed of 80 km/h and a subgrade width of 25.5 m. Total investment amounts to $814.28 million. Financial close took place on August 28, 2018. The project involves a 33-year BOT concession. Yunnan Construction Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. is the social capital sponsor which holds 70% interest in the project. Yuxi Traffic Development Investment Co., Ltd.
