Description | Sino-Dutch a JV of RAMPHASTOS/Boekhoorn (Netherlands), Rabobank (Netherlands) and GreenTech Engineering Co., Ltd. was granted an agreement in March 2008 to construct a wastewater treatment plant with a total capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day in Yuanping City, Shanxi Province. The project was procured via competitive bidding. Sino-Dutch established a project company, Yuanping Sino-Dutch Water Affairs Co., Ltd., to operate the facilities for 30 years before transferring them back to the local government. The total investment was RMB 120 million (US$ 17.17 million) and Sino-Dutch owns 100% of the project. |
