The project comprises the construction and development of Yuhuan No.2 offshore wind power base near the southeast coast of Zhejiang Province. It is located in the offshore area on the east side of Phishan Island. It is planned to have 36 units, each of 14MW and a total installed capacity of 504MW. It will be jointly developed and constructed by Huaneng Zhejiang Energy Development, part of China Huaneng Group, and Jinko Solar, with a total investment of about $919.4m (6.67 billion yuan). The project will be connected to the grid in 2024, as the average annual power generation is 1.69 billion kilowatt hours.
