Description | Rehabilitation of the Yukon River Bridge, which was constructed in 1959 and is located on the Klondike Highway at km 357.2, 180 km north of Whitehorse in the Village of Carmacks. The following rehabilitation activities will be undertaken over a three-year timeframe: In the first year, project activities will include mobilization of construction equipment and some clearing work. Over the subsequent two years, rehabilitation activities will include replacement of bearings, concrete deck, approach slabs and bridge rails in addition to truss retrofitting. |
