Description | In July 2015, a local private company Anhui Shengyun Machinery Company Limited signed a BOT contract to finance, build and operate a solid waste incineration power plant in Yushu City, Qinghai Province. The total investment was RMB 250 million Anhui and the first phase had a total investment of US$ 32.12 million (RMB 200 million). Shengyun had a 100% stake in the project. Once completed the facility (Phase I) can process 300 tons of solid waste per day. The plant (Phase I) had a power generation capacity of 6MW. The concession term was 30 years on top of 20 months of construction period. Construction commenced in December 2015. Anhui Shengyun won the project through an open bidding process. |
