Description | In November 2010, a local private company Changqing Group signed an agreement with the Yutai County Government to finance, build and operate a biomass power plant in Yutai County, Jining City, Shandong Province. Yutai Changqing Environmental Protection Power Company Limited was registered in March 2011 as the SPV to implement the project. The project was approved by the Shandong Province Development and Reform Commission in August 2012. The SPV received a subsidiary of RMB 16.20 million (US$ 2.57 million) in December 2012. In April 2014, Changqing Group raised RMB 210 million (US$ 34.20 million) for the project. The total investment was RMB 256.59 million (US$ 41.79 million) and Changqing had a 100% stake in the project. The plant had a capacity of 30MW. |
