Description
Description | Zagreb Film Festival (ZFF) 2025 and 2026 will feature two new editions of one of Croatia's most significant cultural events, dedicated to discovering and promoting films from emerging European filmmakers. The festival takes place annually in the second week of November, with carefully selected films competing in competition and side programs. An international jury awards the best films with the prestigious Golden Pram award and cash prizes. Beyond the main event, ZFF operates year-round, organizing industry events focused on education and networking, as well as decentralized film distribution across various locations. It also curates and collaborates with its own (croatian.film) and partner VoD platforms on making European cinema more accessible to a wider range of audiences. ZFF has just recently become an EFA-qualifying festival for the short film category. With over two decades of innovation, ZFF has built a strong presence in the European film ecosystem. The festival’s vision is to be the leading regional platform for new and innovative filmmaking, fostering a community of film enthusiasts, creators, and industry professionals. It actively promotes diversity, sustainability, and cultural exchange, reinforcing cinema’s power to inspire, educate and entertain. |
