The proposed project would be to provide streetscape improvement in the City of Zebulon to streets adjacent to the City Square and Phase I Improvements that have already been completed. Specifically, the improvements for this project would include: 1. Jackson Street -from Adams Street to US 19 South. 2. Concord Street- from Adams Street to US 19 South. 3. The Alley -located parallel to US 19 South behind retail buildings. Extending from Jackson Street to Concord Street. 4. Adams Street- from Jackson Street to Concord Street. 5. Harper Street- extending from US 19 North, west to US 19 South. 6. US 19 South- extending from Concord Stree south to Pecan Street. Sidewalks will be approx. 6-ft wide with landscape areas that vary from 2-ft to 8-ft wide. Crosswalks will be added at the intersection of Adams Street and Concord Street, as well as Adams Street and Jackson Street. Both intersections are stop controlled.
