Description | Spanish renewables company Zelestra has closed a green financing deal providing it with USD 600 million for a 440-MW solar portfolio in Texas that will be operated under power off-take deals with Meta Platforms Inc. The portfolio includes the 253-MW Echols Grove solar project in Lamar County and the 187-MW Cedar Range facility in Hopkins County. Construction started in March 2026, with full commercial operations expected by the end of 2027. The solar farms will have around 704,000 bifacial modules across about 2,400 acres. McCarthy Building Companies is handling the EPC works. |
