Zhangjiakou "source-grid-load-storage integration" demonstration project (Guyuan section) (200MW)

The project comprises the construction of a 200-MW wind power project in Huanggainao Town, Guyuan County, Hebei Province, China. It is called Zhangjiakou ""source-grid-load-storage integration"" carbon neutrality demonstration project (Guyuan section). Construction started on September 10th, 2024. It has been sponsored and constructed by Hebei Zejing Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guyuan County Agricultural Development Group (SOE). The investment amount is $157.3m (1.12 billion yuan). The capacity of 200MW will be separated in 32 6.25-MW wind turbines , and a hub height of 115m. A 220kV booster station and operation management center will be built to support the construction, equipped with a 30MW/60MWh energy storage system, and connected to the 220kV side of the Baituyao 500kV substation through a 220kV transmission line.
