"The project comprises the construction of Zhangwu Wufeng 300MW wind power project with sponsor Fuxin Power Generation Company of State Power Investment Corporation Northeast China. It started construction work on March 31, 2024. The investment is about $221.28m or 1.6 billion yuan. The project is located in Liangjiazi Town, Wufeng Town and Shuangmiao Town, Zhangwu County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province. It is planned to build and install 60 wind turbines with a single capacity of 5 megawatts, and build a 220 kV substation. It is expected to achieve full capacity grid-connected power generation in September 2025. After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that it will provide 930 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity to the local area each year, save 280,000 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 750,000 tons, nitrogen oxides by 3,800 tons, sulfur dioxide by 6,400 tons, and smoke by 7,700 tons.
