Description | The project involves the investment, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of potable water treatment plant in Zhaotong City, Qiaojia County, Yunnan Province of China. The daily capacity of the plant is 50,000 cubic meters. The project SPV is called Qiaojia County Water Diversion Project Management Co., Ltd and owned by 3 sponsors: state-owned Qiaojia County Baihe Investment Co., Ltd with 20% stake, Yunnan Construction Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd with 1% stake and Yunnan Immigration Industry Investment and Financing Co. with 79% stake. The project cost amounts to CNY 458.73 million or $ 68.41 million. The project is structured under BOT model for a concession period of 17 years which includes a 2-year construction period. The return mechanism is a feasibility gap subsidy.
