Description | In December 2015, a local private company Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group signed a Public Private Partnership agreement with the Zhaoyuan Municipal Government to finance, build and operate the Zhaoyuan Wastewater Treatment in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. The concession term was 26 years. The total investment was US$ 28.60 million (RMB 190 million) and Beijing Sound had an 80% stake in the project with the remaining 20% belonging to a local SOE. The design treatment capacity of the plant was 50000 tons per day. Construction commenced in May 2016. This project was one of the demonstration PPP projects of the Ministry of Finance (3rd round). |
