Description | In October 2012, construction of a solar power plant invested by a local private company Erdos City Zhengli New Power Generation Company Limited commenced in Duguitala Industrial Park, Hangjin Qi, Erdos City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The electricity generation capacity of the plant was 10MW. The total investment was RMB 120 million (US$ 19.01 million) and Zhengli had a 100% stake in the project. The power plant came into operation in January 2015. Zhengli was a JV of two leading local private companies, Chint Group and Elion Resources Group (their shares were however unknown). |
