Description | Shanghai Zhengming Transport Co. Ltd. (Zhengming or the Company) is a leading temperature controlled logistics (TCL) company based in Shanghai, China. Currently, the Company is present in more than 50 cities and has 12 temperature controlled (TC) warehouses with a total of 36,695 square meters spread across China. Zhengming also owns and operates approximately 262 TC trucks in its transportation division and has access to an additional 450 TC trucks through sub-contractors. In order to strengthen its position and to take advantage of a fast growing market, the Company plans to expand its TC warehousing capacity to 113,695 square meters, increase its TC truck fleet, improve IT systems and acquire smaller TC companies (the “Project”). The Project is expected to be implemented during 2014 and 2015. Implementation of the Project has commenced and the Company is on track to complete the Project over the scheduled time frame. |
