In Apr 2012, construction of a PV power plant commenced in Gaotai County, Gansu Province. The sponsor was a local private company Zhejiang Zhengtai Group which had a 100% stake in the project. The plant had an electricity generation capacity of 100 MW. The total investment was US$ 205.95 million (RMB 1.3 billion). The plant came to operation in Sep 2013. The concession term was over 25 years.
