Description | The state-owned Zhengzhou Gas Company Limited is the exclusive gas operator in Zhenzhou City, Henan Province. The company issued over 551 million H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 23, 2002 at a price of HK$0.25/share ($0.0327/share) for a total of $17.66m. Of this, 74% or $13m will be used for purposes related to gas distribution including 1) construction of natural gas distribution system (23%); 2) construction and renovation of urban pipeline networks (40%); and 3) upgrading the overall management efficiency of the pipeline networks.
