Description | In April 2012, a local private company Anneng Group signed a concession agreement with the Zhongxiang Municipal Government to operate the Zhongxiang City Urban Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Zhongixiang City, Hubei Province. Anneng won the agreement through open bidding with an offer of US$ 10.36 million (RMB 65.37 million). It would operate the plant with a processing capacity of 50,000 tons per day for 28 years. Anneng set up a subsidiary Zhongxiang City Donghai Water Affairs Company Limited in Zhongxiang City to operate the plant. |
