Description | A Singapore based company Asia Environment Holdings Ltd. signed a concession agreement in October 2008 to rehabilitate and operate a wastewater treatment plant with a total capacity of 120,000 cubic meters per day in Zhoukou City, Henan Province. The project was procured via competitive bidding. Asia Environment would operate the facilities for 30 years before transferring them back to the local government. The total investment was RMB 65 million (US$ 9.30 million) and Asia Environment owns 100% of the project. |
