Description | On May 27, 2011, a Singapore based company Asia Environment Holdings Ltd. signed an agreement with the Zhoukou Municipal Government to finance build and operate the Shabei Wastewater Treatment Plant in Zhoukou City, Henan Province. The plant has a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day and the total investment is RMB162.35 million (US$ 24.81 million). Asia Environment has a 100% stake in the project. Construction commenced in August 2011 and by November 2011 a significant part of the facility has been finished (judged from some photos taken on the site). |
