Description | In September 2005, a joint venture was formed between Beijing Pingzhun Investment Co., Ltd. (30%) and Shanghai Standard Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. (70%) to build and operate the Zhuji City - Yongjia County Expressway in Zhejiang Province. In Sep 2004, Bank of China signed a contract with the project company for a loan of RMB 3.217 billion (US$ 392.80 million). The total investment on the 225 km road was RMB 16.39 billion (US$ 2.001 billion). The construction of the project commenced in 2005 and the road would come into operation in 2007. The joint venture will then operate the road for 25 years. |
