Description | A local private company Zhongyi Environmental Protection Industrial Development Co., Ltd. was granted an agreement in January 2006 to construct a wastewater treatment plant with a total capacity of 40,000 cubic meters per day in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. The project was procured via competitive bidding. Zhongyi would operate the facilities for 25 years before transferring them back to the local government. The total investment was RMB 53.99 million (US$ 6.77 million) and Zhongyi owns 100% of the project. |
