Description | The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has appointed a consultant to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for the construction of a 4.5-km flyover from the Poultry Farm Chowk to Zirakpur border. The flyover is divided into two parts due to the rail overbridge near Poultry Farm Chowk. The first flyover will be constructed at Tribune Chowk and the second will start near the rail overbridge and extend to the newly constructed flyover on the Zirakpur border, bypassing several light points. The project aims to make the entire stretch signal free with a six-lane flyover to decongest traffic. |
