Description | In December 2014, a local private company Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group won a 30 year PPP agreement involving 13 wastewater treatment plants in Tongzi County, Guizhou Province. The portfolio consisted of the 2nd phase of the city wastewater treatment plant and 12 township plants located in Chumi Town, Guancang Town, Huaqiu Town, Songkan Town, Xinzhan Town, Maoshi Town, Yangdeng Town, Gaoqiao Town, Jiuba Town, Shuibatang Town, Fengshui Village, and Rongguang Village respectively. The total treatment capacity was 26,200 tons per day. Beijing Sound and the County Government contributed US$ 4.01 million (RMB 25 million) (56%) and US$ 3.21 million (RMB 20 million) respectively to form the SPV. The total investment was US$ 28.04 million (RMB 174.6 million). Construction of eight of the plant commenced in August 2015. |
