Zuri Gardens 3D-Printed Housing Development

Zuri Gardens is an affordable housing development in Houston using 3D printing technology for the ground floors combined with traditional wood construction for the second floors. The project includes 80 two-bedroom, two-bathroom homes of approximately 1,360 square feet each, situated in a park-like setting with walking trails and community green space. The homes are designed to be flood, fire, and possibly tornado-proof, using a proprietary low-carbon cement alternative and engineered wood products. The development aims to provide affordable housing for qualified buyers with income aligned to HUD guidelines, supported by infrastructure reimbursements and bond funding.
