Description | The work for this project includes , but is not limited to the following : Three separate work sites located on Scott Street , Asbury Court , and East Willowbrook Drive ; all of which are City of Burlington maintained streets . Installation of new 2 - inch copper pipe valves and appurtenances . Installation of new 6 - inch ductile iron pipe , valves , fire hydrant , and appurtenances . Flushing , pressure testing , and water purity sampling of waterlines . Switching water service connections at existing meters from the existing to new waterlines . Removal and disposal and replacement of asphalt pavement . Traffic control and erosion control measures . Some unsuitable soils and minor rock excavation may be encountered . Site grading , cleanup and restoration , and seeding and mulching . See more |
