Award will be made in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 entitled, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. MTE Instruments is, to the knowledge of the USGS, the only source who can provide this item, as no other company offers a product that meets all of the Salient Characteristics. Capacity to autonomously collect and preserve at least 30 discrete samples during an extended unattended deployment. 2. Integrated UV-based biofouling protection to reduce fouling of the intake and sampling components during long-term aquatic use. 3. Land-based operation suitable for remote partner locations. 4. Off-grid operation using solar and swappable battery power. 5. Extended multiweek deployment without routine servicing or sample retrieval. The purpose of this notice is to satisfy the requirements of FAR Subpart 5.2. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible parties may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government.
