Pierce County (hereafter known as &ldquo;the County&rdquo;) has made available, in accordance with <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.piercecountywa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/109977/Comprehensive-Plan-to-End-Homelessness-with-Appendices-and-Shelter-Action-Plan">Pierce County Comprehensive Plan to End Homelessness</a> (CPEH), the following funds to provide Street Outreach Services (SOS) and Young Adult Shelter (YAS) to youth and young adults experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in the County. The Anchor Communities Initiative (ACI) funds support an integrated homeless response system of housing assistance that quickly re-houses households who are experiencing homelessness.For this funding competition, the County estimates total funding of approximately&nbsp;<strong>$975,579 </strong>will be available. <strong>$487,789 </strong>will be available for the period of January 1, 2024 &ndash; June 30, 2024, and <strong>$487,789</strong>&nbsp;will be available for the period of July 1, 2024 &ndash; June 30, 2025. The funding sources available through this NOFA include: &nbsp;<ul><li>State Department of Commerce, Anchor Communities Initiative (ACI)</li><li>Document Recording Fee (DRF)</li><li>Additional federal, State or local funds that may become available during the contracting cycle and allocated through this NOFA</li></ul>
