Description | Polk County is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide surveying , concept plans , preliminary plans , permitting , final plans , right of way plans , specifications , cost estimates , bid documents , and construction administration & inspection necessary for the replacement of an existing bridge located on Government Farm Road in Polk County Georgia . This existing structure is approximately 40 ’ in length , having a single 13 ’ wide travel lane with 8 ” concrete curbs and guardrails . It is being replaced due to its age , weight restrictions , and single lane capacity . Euharlee Creek crosses beneath this bridge at a significant skew . The County is not aware of any flooding events during which the creek has overtopped the bridge . |
