Description | The City of Kingsland is looking for a qualified contractor to construct 5 ’ wide sidewalks as listed in the included chart . Sidewalks to be 5 ’ wide 4 ” thick with 3000 psi concrete with fiber reinforcement . To include the following : Compact base before concrete to be placed . Walkway shall be constructed with a 2 % side slope as not to hold water on roadway ( see typical drawing ) Control joints at 5 ’ intervals ( cut in or tooled ) Concrete will be finished to a lite broom perpendicular to travel ADA mats at all intersections Finish grade , seed and hay all slopes and bare dirt areas ( see typical drawing ) |
