Description | This request for proposal ( RFP ) is being issued to select a contractor capable of delivering a splice ready fiber and conduit system for this phase of the project . The intent of this RFP is to solicit a general contractor capable of performing and managing all work required to install conduit and splice ready fiber for the 2026 phase of the project . The work includes , but is not limited to : excavation , vault installation ; conduit placement , fiber cable pulling and testing , and splice enclosures ; roadway , concrete , and landscape restoration ; traffic control including pedestrian and bicycle detours ; permitting ; utility potholing and documentation ; as - built information , and project record keeping .
