GENERAL : • The unit provided shall be new , of current manufacturing design of 2026 model year , class 7 , heavy duty truck . • Proposer shall provide a list of ( 3 ) customers using the specific model proposed . • The unit shall be delivered fully upfitted as outlined . • In comparing proposals , consideration will not be confined to price only . The successful proposer will be one whose product is judged to best service specific interests of the Town when price , performance , safety , quality , field experience and delivery date of specific model proposed are considered . MODEL : • 2026 • 4x4 • Regular cab ENGINE : • Cummins L9 • Minimum horsepower – 330 HP @ 2 , 000 RPM . • Minimum torque – 1 , 000 lb / ft @ 1 , 400 RPM . • Shall include engine compression brake . • Minimum 1 , 100 square inch aluminum radiator . • 115V block heater . • RH under step stainless after - treatment system . • Vertical tail pipe with stainless guard , curved top stack . • Automatic over the road regeneration and dash mounted regeneration switch . • Standard mechanical air compressor and governor . • Cab mounted positive load disconnect switch . • LH mounted DEF tank minimum 6 gallons . • Drivers side mounted fuel tank with stainless straps . TRANSMISSION AND RELATED EQUIPMENT : • Allison with PTO provision . • Dash mounted push button electronic shift control . • 2 – speed transfer case . • Transmission and transfer case oil coolers .
