Description | East Jordan Public Schools is seeking proposals for the Elementary School building . A . Roof Area RA # 1 : Roofs 2 , 14 , & 15 ( BASE BID ): a . Area of Roof ( s ): 12 , 054 sq . ft . b . Description of Work : C . 1 ) Existing roof rehabilitation specified in Division 07 Section 070150 . 74 . Related Work : 1 ) Restoration of single ply roofing : Refer to Division 07 Section 070150 . 74 for roofs 2 , 14 , & 15 . a ) b ) c ) Perform updated diagnostic roof moisture survey to identify wet / defective insulation . Spot replacement of identified wet / defective insulation . Installation of new tapered insulation as required to remove ponding water from existing roof system . Clean roof using specified EPA compliant water reclamation cleaning process . d ) Flash new / existing roof drains . e ) f ) g ) Prime roof as necessary using specified Alphaguard WB water - based primer . Install AlphaGuard Bio fluid applied base coat at rate of 3 gallons per 100sqft ( 48 wet mils ). Fully embed permafab polyester reinforcing fabric into 100 % of base coat . Install AlphaGuard Bui fluid applied top coat at rate of 2 gallons per 100sqqft ( 32 wet mils ). h ) i ) Include all necessary related flashing and sheet metal work . j ) Provide 20 - year manufacturer ' s proactive roof warranty including inspections in years 2 , 5 , 10 , and 15 . B . Roof Area RA # 2 : Roof 5 ( ALTERNATE BID ): a . Area of Roof ( s ): 1 , 827 sq . ft . b . Description of Work : 1 ) Existing roof replacement specified in Division 07 Section 075416 . |
