Description | The contractor is to load , haul and spread at designated locations throughout the county at the bid price per township . eneral requirements The bidder will be responsible for CDL compliance of any and all employees / sub - contractors used in fulfilling the gravel transport . The contractor shall at all times exercise extreme care and shall assume all liability for any damage resulting from this operation and shall hold the Shiawassee County Road Commission harmless from any claims or damages . The bidder will work in conjunction with the Road Commission to determine the date of delivery . No material shall be spread on the roadway without prior approval from an employee of the Shiawassee County Road Commission . The material shall be delivered to the roads designated by the Road Commission for each township . The delivery of a minimum of 2 , 000 tons per 10 - hour day will be required . |
