Description | • General Civil Engineering : Study and design of public infrastructure projects specifically for the Town ’ s culinary water and wastewater collection systems . • Construction Management : Construction oversight and quality control for infrastructure projects . • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure Town projects meet local , state , and federal environmental and safety regulations . • Plan Review : Participate in reviewing plans submitted to the Town for permitting as necessary , especially in reviewing site plans , surveys , grading plans , and plats . • Coordination Coordinate as necessary with the Town ’ s internal departments and various outside agencies , vendors , contractors , or utility providers , such as UDOT , USDA Forest Service , Salt Lake County Service Area # 3 , Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities , Salt Lake County Health Department , Rocky Mountain Power , and Enbridge Gas . • Meetings : Attendance at Town of Alta Planning Commission and / or Town Council meetings , and project coordination meetings as necessary . One - on - one meetings with Town staff as necessary . |
