Description | The scope of work includes , but is not limited to the following : a . Understanding and application of standard details and specifications from : 1 . City of Arroyo Grande , 2 . Caltrans , 3 . APWA , AWWA , ASTM , and NEC 4 . County of San Luis Obispo . b . Design ( master planning , conceptual alternative study , preliminary and final project design ) and Engineering . c . Preparation of contract documents ( plans , specifications , estimates ). d . Preparation of project drawings in AutoCAD e . Underground utilities investigations , including identification and analysis . f . Knowledge and understanding of the use of and requirements of federal documentation for design associated with federally funded construction projects . g . Ability to work with utilities , special districts , and public agencies in and adjacent to the City of Arroyo Grande . h . Right of way / easements investigation , review , appraisal , and acquisition . i . Roadway Design and Engineering . j . Understanding of environmental regulations relevant to construction activities . k . Understanding and knowledge of Best Management Practices . l . Water and wastewater system analyses , and modeling , Telemetry / SCADA . |
