Task 1 : Update Pedestrian Structure Inventory 1 . Review existing inspection reports and create a new four year cycle based on the most recent reports . 2 . Staff will provide a list of any structures not currently in the list that the consultant should add to the cycle . 3 . Deliverables by Engineer : Updated Pedestrian Structure Inventory in a format as prescribed in Attachment B and suitable to be uploaded to the Town ’ s GIS database by the consultant . 4 . Information to be provided by Town includes a . GIS database access b . General locations of new structures when available c . Pedestrian Structure Inventory Check List Task 2 : Pedestrian Structure Inspections 1 . Pedestrian Structure Inspections to be performed by a registered NC PE with a strong background in design , construction , inspections and maintenance of bridge , culvert , boardwalk and overlook structures . 2 . Provide Inspection Reports as using naming format : “ Structure ID InspectionRpt mm / dd / yyyy . pdf ”. 3 . Inspection Reports shall utilize the standard numeric rating system for structure condition grade as defined by the National Bridge Inspection Standards ( NBIS ) and in a similar format to NCDOT . 4 . Reports will need to be incorporated into Cary ’ s Condition Assessment Report utilitizing Asset Optics . Further discussions will be required on specific scope of work needed . 5 .
