Description | Rio Blanco County is requesting proposals from qualified Architectural and Engineering ( A / E ) firms to provide professional design services for the 2026 RBC Fairgrounds Facility Improvement Project located at 700 Sulphur Creek Road , Meeker , Colorado . The selected firm will provide evaluation , design , and preparation of construction documents for priority improvements at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds . The Base Scope of Services includes architectural , mechanical , plumbing , electrical , and structural engineering services necessary to develop Schematic Design ( SD ), Design Development ( DD ), and Construction Documents ( CD ) for :• New restroom facilities serving the County Fair Office , both Exhibit Halls , and the Indoor Arena • ADA accessibility compliance upgrades • Code compliance analysis • Coordination with existing facilities and Fairgrounds operationsOptional / Additional Services may include :• Evaluation of the Indoor Arena metal roof system and improvement options • Evaluation of Indoor Arena insulation and performance improvements • Evaluation of the County Fair Office kitchen and utility impacts • Design options for a permanent ADA - compliant lift and accessible seating platform within the GrandstandsThe intent of this project is to improve accessibility , functionality , durability , and long - term performance of Fairgrounds facilities while developing complete , biddable construction documents for future implementation .
