Description | INVITATION TO BIDGARDEN CITY , WAYNE COUNTY , MICHIGAN2026 SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAMThe one - year project consists of replacing deficient sidewalks throughout Garden City bounded by Ford , Venoy , Warren and Merriman ( see attached map ). The anticipated start date , weather permitting , is May 11 , 2026 and substantially completed by November 27 , 2026 . SEALED BIDS will be accepted at the Office of the City Clerk , 6000 Middlebelt , Garden City , MI 48135 . Bid must be clearly labeled “ 2026 SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM ” Two ( 2 ) copies of the bid proposals shall be submitted to : Bryan Smith , City ClerkCity of Garden City6000 Middlebelt RoadGarden City , MI 48135Deadline : 10 : 00 am ( est ) on Monday , April 13 , 2026 . Bids shall be publicly opened and read . All RFI ’ s shall be emailed to Nick Yuvan , PE , nryuvan @ hengineers . com . ( No calls ) The deadline for Request for Information ( RFI ) is Wednesday , April 8 , 2026 , 10 a . m . EST . Contract Documents can be downloaded directly from BidNet . The OWNER reserves the right to waive any information or to reject any and / or all bids . Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of bid opened . The OWNER and ENGINEER will further assess the bids based on the following criteria . 1 . COST EFFECTIVENESS2 . SIMILAR PAST PROJECT EXPERIENCE3 .
