REQUIREMENTS for Superpave Hot Mix AsphaltThe City shall be responsible to pick up at the contractor ’ s plant location . The City shall pick up loads ranging from 1 – 15 ton , most loads will be 7 or 15 ton . The City shall make every effort to give a 24hr notice . In emergency / rush situations , the City may not be able to provide 24hr notice . Contractor will be responsible to load City trucks at the plant location and provide the driver with a scale ticket after each load . The scale ticket must include : Date of pick upNet tonnageCommodity description . All Superpave Hot Mix Asphalt shall meet 2020 ISPWC section 810 standards . The minimum acceptable binder grade shall be 58 - 28 . Maximum acceptable RAP content shall be 30 %. All prices must be firm against any increase for one ( 1 ) year from effective date of the Contract .
