Description | The Washington State Department of Transportation ( WSDOT ) solicits interest from consultants who wish to be evaluated and considered to provide update to the WSDOT economic data . One ( 1 ) agreement may be awarded . The scope of work includes statewide data collection through surveys , interviews , and site visits ; development of a standardized data library ; and application of economic modeling tools ( e . g ., IMPLAN ) to estimate systemwide impacts . Additional analyses will examine industry reliance on aviation , freight and logistics dependencies , tourism impacts , and the fiscal contributions of aviation - related activity . The project also emphasizes qualitative and community - oriented benefits , such as emergency response , rural access , and public service functions . Deliverables will include technical reports , legislative briefings , airport - specific fact sheets , GIS dashboards , and public - facing materials designed to support policymaking , investment prioritization , and stakeholder engagement . The final outputs will provide actionable insights to guide state aviation policy , infrastructure investment , and long - term system planning , ensuring alignment with federal frameworks and statewide economic development goals . |
