Description | The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor , equipment , and materials necessary to complete the following tasks : Service Line Replacement : Remove and replace existing lead or galvanized water service lines from the city - owned shutoff valve ( curb stop ) to the water main ( city side ) and from the curb stop to the building ( private side ). Excavation and Restoration : Perform necessary excavation , backfill , compaction , and site restoration , including pavement , lawn , or landscaping disturbed during construction . Plumbing Work : Coordinate with and subcontract a licensed plumber to complete interior plumbing connections within each residence . Documentation : Record material types , service line lengths , and locations for both city and private sides to meet EPA inventory and reporting requirements . |
