Description | The Old Riverside Park Redevelopment Project in Sandy Springs, Georgia, is a comprehensive improvement initiative designed to transform the undeveloped park property into an accessible, environmentally sensitive, and community-focused destination. The project scope includes site preparation, grading, and erosion control to meet state and city environmental standards; installation of new infrastructure including driveways, parking, trails, and drainage systems; and construction of a prefabricated restroom facility with complete utility connections. The design also features a nature-based playground with log and wood play elements, picnic areas, and shade structures, all built to ADA and ASTM safety standards. Strict measures for tree protection, stormwater management, and native landscape restoration are integrated throughout the project to preserve the park¿s ecological integrity. |
