Description | The work to be performed under this Contract includes demolition and disposal of the existing 2 - million - gallon above - grade welded steel water storage tank , followed by construction of a new AWWA D110 , Type III wire - wound , prestressed concrete water storage tank . The new tank will have an inside diameter of 119 feet and a high - water depth of 36 feet , providing a total capacity of 3 million gallons . Construction of the new tank will include demolition of existing infrastructure , modifications to existing utilities , installation of new water lines and valves , and all associated earthwork .
