Scope of Work 1 . Project Overview Kitsap Transit is seeking a qualified contractor to provide the design , fabrication , and installation of custom cabinetry , shelving , and an ADA - compliant per ADA Accessibility Standards 902 . 2 , at one of its workspace within its Harborside Office located at 60 Washington Ave , Suite 390 Bremerton , Washington 98337 . 2 . Project Description The Contractor shall furnish all labor , materials , tools , equipment , and supervision necessary to design , construct , and install custom cabinetry along the designated wall space on the third floor . The cabinetry will be installed along the western wall . The completed installation will support general office functions and information technology ( IT ) workspace needs , including storage , desk space , shelving , and maintain ADA compliance . Lastly , the vendor shall provide warranty information for both materials and workmanship . 3 . Existing Conditions Existing custom cabinetry installed by a previous tenant is currently in place and will remain . These cabinets include storage cupboards and a mail station . Please note that awarded vendor shall : • Design new cabinetry to match and complement existing cabinetry , including material type , color , and overall style • Ensure a cohesive and uniform appearance between new and existing installations 4 . Design and Fabrication The Contractor shall : • Provide final design drawings for approval prior to fabrication • Ensure all cabinetry is built to fit the designated space • Match existing cabinetry aesthetics ( materials , finishes , hardware , and style ) • Incorporate both storage and functional workspace elements along with ADA compliance 5 . Cabinet Installation The Contractor shall : • Install ADA compliant workspace with cabinetry . • ADA desk space will follow ADA federal guidelines ( 27 ” minimum knee clearance , 28 ” minimum to 34 ” maximum desk height , 30 ” minimum width , 19 ” minimum depth ) • Vendor shall maintain at least 36 - inch pathway between existing desk space and new cabinetry . • Vendor will install large sized (~ 30 ” depth ), floor - to - ceiling , lockable cabinets on the north facing / north side of the workplace wall , please see wall circled in red in Exhibit A . These cabinets will store sensitive IT equipment and documents . Cabinets will be accessible by lock and key . • Please note that workspace currently has three electrical outlets and one internet / VOIP outlet . Vendor should preserve access to these outlets . • Vendor shall ensure all cabinetry is securely anchored and professionally finished 6 . Installation Requirements • Contractor shall maintain a clean and safe work environment • All debris shall be removed from the site upon completion • Installation shall comply with all applicable building codes and regulations
