Summary : Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR) has a requirement for reliable and specialized vehicles for safe travel in Arctic terrain and conditions. Snowmobiles are essential for winter and spring transport over snow-covered tundra and sea ice, while all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) are required during the summer and early fall for ground mobility over rocky and wet tundra. |
