The TOWNSHIP OF DELANCO is issuing this Request for Proposals (" RFP ") to solicit proposals from highly qualified and experienced Redevelopers (" Respondents ") to act as Redeveloper for the development of 401 Creek Road , Delanco , NJ , which is presently owned by the Township of Delanco , which has been designated as an Area in Need of Rehabilitation pursuant to the criteria set forth in the NJ Local Redevelopment and Housing Law N . J . S . A . 40A : 12A - 14 . In particular , TOWNSHIP OF DELANCO is seeking to appoint a Redeveloper to establish and execute a coordinated development that transforms 401 Creek Road into an age - restricted , multi - unit residential development and / or assisted living facility . The Township is issuing this RFP to assess proposals from Redevelopers interested in the acquisition and redevelopment of a portion of a previously designated Rehabilitation Area which is comprised of approximately 11 . 5 +/- acres of a Township owned property in Delanco . Those properties are commonly known as Block 2100 , Lot 11 on the tax map of the TOWNSHIP OF DELANCO , Burlington County , State of New Jersey . The Township purchased this property for $ 3 . 5 million and will need to pay off this debt with the sale . The Township is looking for age - restricted , multi - unit , single family homes , apartments , assisted living or any combination of the such .
